Achappam, also known as rose cookies, is a traditional deep-fried snack from Kerala, cherished for its intricate floral shape and crisp texture. Made using a special patterned iron mold, this delicacy blends rice flour, coconut milk, eggs, and sugar into a smooth batter. The mold is heated in oil, dipped into the batter, and then returned to the oil, where the batter crisps and releases into a beautiful, lacy cookie.
